Well, not polka, but this group from Chicago does play instrumental versions of Stooges classics on trombone and tuba (and drums). No guitars, tho it does sound rather dirty 'n' distorted at times. It also sounds really, really good.The Ridiculous Trio Plays The Stooges

one, great stuff, sounds like a tribute but could be a parody...
Gotta say, I've been living with this one for a few months now, and it's really grown on me. Somehow the distorted, spattery horns do justice to the Stooges. Their version of "Dirt" is just hellish! This is a great post, man! I've lost track of how much great stuff I've gotten off your blog.
