I actually did, a Moog Ethervox, to be exact. Doesn't get any cooler then that. Makes me wanna listen to stuff like Project: Pimento, "...a five-piece band from San Francisco, with a repertoire of toe-tapping lounge favorites from the 40s, 50s, and 60s," fronted by sulty singer Miss Lola Bombay and featuring thereminist Dr. Robby Virus.
"Star Trek"
"Call Me"
From their album, "Magical Moods of the Theremin."

This made my day. That Nichelle Nichols version was just terrible. Thank the Lord for this!!
Project Pimento has been a fave of mine since I spotted an ad on Craigslist when they were forming...
I turned my old roomate onto them and he became their original drummer for awhile before he decided being an unemployed crackhead who lives with his parents was preferable. They've been through a variety of vocalists as well... but the quality is always there...
The main therminizer is the debonair Mr. Robbie Virus...
Hi, I just wanna say this is a very cool blog, with some remarkable music... Keep it up, and thanks!
Wow, a theremin! Can I come over and play?
Sure, you're all invited! We're serving milk and cookies too.
Thank You. I'll have to send a link to your site to the guys I was partying with last week. They couldn't believe me that there were words to the Star Trek theme. Not even when I sang them. They insisted I made them up, and of course, I didn't have my copy of "The making of Star Trek" handy to prove my case.
Ha ha! Of course, i'm probably cooler in their eyes if they think I did make up those lyrics. If they find out I got them from that book, then I'm probably a big geek.
You looking to sell this thing yet?
email jourdan.go@gmail.com
thanks
